7th – 12 August 2014. Aurora will welcome Dancers and Musicians from Gascony in France to Aberdeen and surrounding area to give performances and workshops.

Friday 8th August

7.30pm – 11.30pm.  Festival Ceilidh in Stonehaven Town Hall with music by the Aurora Ceilidh Band and performances by special guests Le Poutou de Toulouse.  Bar opens at 7pm.  Tickets £10 (£8 concessions).

Saturday 9th August

11am – 1pm.  Free public performances in the Aberdeen Bon Accord Centre.

2.30pm – 4pm.  Free public performances in the MS Society Stuart Resource Centre, Long Walk Road, AB16 5QQ.

2pm – 3.30pm.  Family French Dance Workshop in Citymoves Dance Space, Schoolhill, Aberdeen.  Come along and try some traditional French dances taught by visiting group Le Poutou de Toulouse.  Tickets £5 (adults), £2.50 (concessions).  Ages 8 years and above (children must be accompanied by an adult).

Sunday 10th August

Outdoor performance at Crathes Castle.  There will be a parade starting at 1.45pm, followed by a dance performance 2pm-3pm.  The entertainment is free but there is the standard charge to enter the castle grounds if you’re not a member of the NTS.
