Aurora Scottish Dance & Music turned 30 years old in 2026. To celebrate this milestone, we held a celebratory weekend from 11-14 September 2026. We were joined over the weekend by some dancing friends from France, Italy and Sweden who we have met on the various trips and festivals we have enjoyed over the years.
Who joined us?
Hogbo Folkdansgille from Sandviken, Sweden – the group visited us in 1997, and we returned the visit in 1998.
Grouppe Folklorique du Pays de Hanau from Alsace, France – we visited the group in 2011, and they returned the visit in 2012.
Le Poutou de Toulouse from Toulouse, France – the group visited us in 2014, and we returned the visit in 2015
Gruppo Folkloristico Pasian di Prato from Udine, Italy – we visited the group in 2016 and they returned the visit in 2018.
